less Technical Presentation at Conference

今年の OSCON では mod_perl のプレゼンが少ない！ という話題ですが、これってこの分野に限った話ではなくて、最近の技術系カンファレンスにありがちな傾向なのではないかと思ったりする。Shibuya Perl Mongers のテクニカルトークも技術的内容は減ってきて バッドノウハウカンファレンス みたいな方向が多いし、今年の LL Weekend では技術的話題はあんまり多くなさそう新しいネタはあんまりなくて、あるとすればクラックとか。。 というまつもとさんの日記を読んでやはり偶然ではないなぁと思ったり。

これは世の中的に実装よりアプリケーションを重視する流れになっているとか理由が存在するのか、それとも自分の属しているコミュニティがたまたまそうなっているだけなのでしょうか。
