FOAF Support in Safari RSS - John Resig
When using the new Safari RSS last night, I was surpised to see that it detected the embedded FOAF data within the feed (My LJ Feed).
LiveJournal のフィードを Safari RSS で読むと、FOAF をパースして "Friends" として表示してくれる。手順は、

1) Requesting the RSS feed.
2) Requesting the channel link.
3) Requesting the FOAF file from the channel link.
4) Placing the friends data parsed from the foaf file into the sidebar of the viewer.
ということで、RSS -> channel -> FOAF Discovery という具合にパースしてるみたいですね。スクリーンショットは Safari FOAF Support on Flickr - Photo Sharing! に。

The new version of Mac OS X, Tiger, was released today and it has an RSS screensaver.
Tiger には RSS のヘッドラインを表示するスクリーンセーバーもついてる。Cool ですな。
